FAQS
Q: Will these mods make power?
A: Definitely, we don’t do or sell it if it doesn’t make power. Otherwise it seems kinda pointless doesn’t it?
Q: Will this void my warranty?
A: To be strict about it, if you read Toyota’s warranty policy ANY MODIFICATIONS voids your warranty. Since most likely you already have wheels, HIDs, sounds, etc etc, consider your warranty voided. Practically speaking, these mods will not cause your engine to blow up.
Q: Why is there no Plug n Play for the gas version?
A: Well there simply far less gasoline Fortuners sold to warrant the developement of a plug n play ssytem.
Q: What are the wires in the wired in version?
A: Its basically only 8 wires for the power and ground, MAP and TPS, crank and air flow signal, then another 2 wires that control the injection pump. Its just takes slightly longer to wire than an alarm system. And its also completely reversible in case you want to sell the car.
Q: Is the Unichip universal?
A: Yes, its the most universal piggyback computer, which is one if the reasons we brought it in. The exact same unit will work for 95% of the cars out there, gas os diesel. As long as it has a computer box, it can be installed. Weirdest car we’ve installed it was on a Suzuki APV, most exotic was a Porsche Boxster
Q: Do I still need to change the rest of my exhaust?
A: The dyno chart above is a unit installed with a full 2.5″ exhaust. You still can to maximize the power gains. But of course it will cost more (around 35k) and be a noisier.
Q: Will my car be noisier because of the headers?
A: No. If you have the stock exhaust, it will sound the same.
Q: How long does it take to install?
A: We can do all 3 items in one day. Just bring the car early like 9am.
Q: Are the headers a bolt on? Wait what does bolt on mean? I keep hearing it but have no idea what it means.
A: Bolt on simply means that, take out the old part and bolt in the new one with no cutting, welding or modification to the rest of the vehicle. And being a true bolt on, it can always be reverted back to stock when time comes to sell your car.
Q: Do I need thermal wrap?
A: No you don’t but if you insist, we’ll wrap it for you for an additional P2,500
Q: Does the Unichip reset when you unplug the battery?
A: No
Q: What’s the warranty?
A: K&N has a 1,000,000 mile warranty (yes that’s one million), Devil’s Own and Unichip carries the usual one year warranty against factory defects.

Since the upgrade cost is around 50k what advantage it has as oppose to engine transplant? is this still advisable for old model cars say a nissan sentra ECCS or lancer 91 GTI? which i believe has ECU as well.
