When i was about 14 I didnt have any plans in life. I never thought to myself that what I was doing at that point was going to lead to anything bigger than it was. I mean, its not like I could drive yet or go race cars. But i did pretend to. I would sit behind the wheel of our broke down ford LTD pretending I knew how to run from the cops.

Back then, drifting wasnt a common name. It was called “fish-tailing.” So any ideas of that were nothing but crazy thoughts in a childs imagination. Besides, I couldnt even reach the pedals! I would have to have a special seat made. What kind of parent would make special seats for their kids car so they can drift? Hahahahaha!

I mean what kind of parent tells their kid they can go DRIFT a car into a wall, or their little brothers car for that matter? What kind of person gives their kid the right to go drive or drift at the age of 13? Thats like saying “Hey son, go drive this car 70 miles an hour, sideways, into this left-hand turn, with your tires smoking and your brakes red-hot, plus your heart racing and your mind frozen like $#!+!” Does that makes sense to you? Of course not. But for Bill and his two boys (Jessy and Kenny), that makes all the sense in the world.
