The Hyundai Accent, or Verna in some countries, is so far one of the freshest and newest-looking subcompact cars in the country. So even in stock form, it tends to be more of a head-turner compared those from other makes in its class.
Now what most other people would do, if they had a budget beyond the price range of the Accent, is to get a car in the next class. But then serious car enthusiasts who just wouldn’t accept stock will almost always pick a car that fits their budget, plus modifications.
If that’s your kind of thing, then you should take notes from this feature. A flashy Hyundai Accent, plus extra budget, equals a car that in one form or another, is more stunning than yours. Continue reading

2013 was a year of firsts for many in the local automotive tuning community. One of the biggest firsts was the coming of RWB – Rauh-Welt Begriff. And with that coming of RWB came another first – the first time Nakai-San of RWB worked on Porsches on Air Suspension. Because of these “firsts,” Car Porn Racing / RWB Manila has been creating international waves. The Philippines is definitely raising the bar when it comes to making RWBs even cooler. So here’s a collection of photos of the first four RWBs in the Philippines as seen in the 2013 Manila Auto Salon…

The Toyota bB has had such a cult following that you’ll see many iterations of customizations being done to it. But sometimes, you don’t need a hefty number of modifications just to make one stand out. Check this white box for example.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well to sum things up, there are two words that I would use to best describe this – “Stance,” and “Contrast.” Why? Because if there’s one thing that’s similar about these two, it’s that they’re stanced. Other than that, everything else is a contrast.

It seems that people who choose to modify 4x4s from this era, the preference is more towards 4x4s which came with solid front axles from the factory, rather than the Pajero which comes with independent front suspension.
That being said, seeing a 1st Gen Pajero 4-Door that has been as seriously modified like what you see here is a rare sight to behold. And that’s why we’re featuring it today. Continue reading
