Just when I thought that a Hachi-Roku couldn’t look any better, I came across this stunning AE86 Trueno Coupe by Toycool Garage. Instead of the traditional panda black and white that you’d usually see on just about every other AE86 in the planet, this example was done up in blue and black, giving it an attention-grabbing aura.

I can clearly see why they left the headlights up. Check out the projector lamps!

Custom Pinoy Rides continues the coverage of Bimmerfest 2012, with a couple of Z’s, two of the cleanest M3′s I have seen yet, and a host of other enviable rides…

The BMW Car Club of the Philippines brought out their meanest rides in this year’s Bimmerfest 2012. Held at the Bonifacio High Street on the 5th of May, we got to see the much loved and pampered beauties. On my way there it actually started to rain, so I wasn’t hoping on getting a lot of photos in, but as soon as I parked, the sun came shining, and a team of dedicated detailers worked their magic across all the cars in the show.

We wrap up the rest of the car photos with Part 3 of the 21st Trans Sport Show coverage. Here we look at cars from Jworks Unlimited, Starbright Bodykits, and other various notables.

The first of four Jworks Unlimited creations is this 1998 Mercedes Benz, in striking electric blue. The AMG logo proudly emblazoned atop its grill means this car isn’t just for show, but will give you your money’s worth on the track too.

A fully decked out minty green 2001 Porsche Boxter S, styled from head to toe.

Being a Porsche, the audio setup is found in the front end (makes me wonder if guards in malls get training to know which end to open when dealing with different cars…)

The sign on the show said otherwise, but I am pretty sure that this is Green Lantern’s daily driver…

…I mean, look at those rims glow green!

Another Jworks Unimited Benz, this 1998 SLK 230 stood out with its gold finish.

The New Autodresscode had this 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe on display, sporting extra wide front inlets to feed its equally large 3.6L engine

Bace Garage with their 2009 Honda Jazz… it was very nice of them to list down all the custom work made to their vehicles…

…with the rear suspension getting the J’s Racing treatment.

TSL Marketing had a 2007 Honda Jazz in full Rockford Fosgate gear. I had a similar setup in my Civic a few years ago, and let me tell you… my ears are still ringing!

Ford Fiestas are a very common site on Philippine roads these days, so a little sprucing up will certainly keep yours stand out.

One of the more angular bodykits I’ve seen on this 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer, which complements the main design elements of the current Mistubishi line very well.

The bodykit of this 2012 Chevy Spark, with a more unobstructed grill as compared to stock.

A 2012 Porsche Cayenne by Starbright Bodykits. And just in case you were wondering, that isn’t carbon fiber…

For Part 2 of the 21st Trans Sport Show coverage, Custom Pinoy Rides brings you plenty of spankin’ engine bays, and a few nostalgic customs.

Autoline Motorsports Zentrium and PR Autosport maintains their strong partnership, joining up with this 2007 Honda Civic.

Another example of an engine bay you could literally eat out of, this 1996 Mazda Famila GLX by Autogenix Carworx sported a gold engine cover…

…with its purple paint scheme making its way to the interior in true custom fashion.

A 1998 Honda Integra having been graced by the Midas touch, with the lips of its BBS rims and its engine cover in matching gold. This was a joint project by Dice Bodykits, AC Garage, and Autopartsphil.

OLDisCOOL indeed, this 1963 Mini Cooper by Equal Trade and Firland Audio attracting the crowds.

Not enough room to cram in all your AV gear? No problem! Add a trailer! This Cooper is certainly an entertainment center on wheels.

And just in case you need to pop by the nearest Mini Stop to get a case of ice cold brew whilst the crowd watch the latest episode of Game of Thrones on the Cooper, just grab the roof-mounted chopper, complete with rear carriage.

Just when I thought I had seen the entire car, the owner popped open the hood and revealed an equally astounding engine bay.

“I was built to beat you” – nuff said!

There were a number of great looking vintage cars on display this year. Alfred Motorworks showing off a restored 1963 Sunbeam Alpine.

A 1969 MGB GT looking like it just rolled off the production line…

…unwittingly nearly half a century later, but still holding its own.

This 1937 Chevrolet was one of the oldest cars on display in the show, being done up by The New Autodresscode.

Featuring red hot grills, with a checkered front accent…

…this vintage is as revolutionary now as it was back in its prime.

The 21st iteration of the Trans Sport Show saw us returning to SM Megamall, with near 100 cars on show (or maybe more – I lost count!). Cars on display ranged from a 1937 Chevy, to the latest of Porsches, so whether you were into vintage or the cutting edge, this years Trans Sport Show had something for everyone.

The general styling of this car really flowed well from front to rear, with the front grills being painted matte black, along with what were originally chrome accents… genius!

2010 Mercedes Benz C180 and E300 by Concept One, wrapped with Foil A Car technology, giving that clean, sleek, matte finish look.

Firland Audio shows us a clean and composed audio setup.

.. and then gives us something completely out of this world with this 1978 Volkswagen Beetle.

A seizure inducing interior, which will keep any party animal going all night.

This must have been one of the more striking cars in the event, obviously with plenty of hours put in to get the Beetle looking as slick as this…

…with the front suspension exposed for all to see,

Every square inch of this vehicle has been transformed, with speakers lining what used to be the rear seats.

You might recognize this Honda Civic EK Hatchback as something that’s been featured quite a while back here at Custom Pinoy Rides. And if you’re a fan of the Circuit Showdown events, then you must have seen this ride in person or through photos on the internet. If you’re used to seeing this car at speed, I wouldn’t blame you because it has won there quite a number of times before.

Now, we get to observe it standing still. What you see right here looks to be the latest iteration of this compact rocket, as displayed during the 2012 Hot Import Nights show.

Read on as we go into some details about this special ride, and also take a look at what’s up under the hood. Check it out…

Mark definitely knows how to exploit the formula to making Hondas go faster – weight reduction. The roll-down windows and rear glass have been replaced with lexan a long time back. The interior is gutted, the passenger seats front and rear have been deleted, and a full roll-cage has been installed. These modifications were all present even on our previous features. For a more detailed view of the interior, check out our previous post showing a video of Enzo Pastor driving this beast. Apart from the Rota GT3 wheels, the major change I see as compared to our previous feature is the front clip, which has now been updated to an EK9.

Under the hood, you get to see the turbocharged B-series engine in all its glory. Sure, the more modern K-series engines get more torque and horsepower in stock form, and has more potential, but a boosted B-series can hold its own, and weighs less than a K-series. Though I wouldn’t be surprised if I see a K-series under the hood of this very car soon in the future. What do you guys think?

If you guys have been following us, you must have heard us talking about the multi award winning Atoy Customs Genesis Amuse on our previous features. Well, I’d just like to provide you guys with an update on how the car is doing and how it’s currently looking like. And what better place to shoot it than at it’s very own home base – the Atoy Customs garage.

I’m enjoying my brand-new 18-200 lens from this perspective. Up to this point I’ve never used any long-range lenses in any of my photos here at Custom Pinoy Rides. And even for my action shots during motorsports events, I’ve always preferred to shoot near the action right beside the track instead of shooting from afar. Until recently, when some race marshals permitted me to go only up to a certain distance. So I decided to get a superzoom anyway for that extra reach. I see it’s not too bad a lens so long as you know how to use it right! This photo was shot right across the street. Nice! See that thing peaking from the Genesis Amuse’s gaping mouth? FMIC baby! More on that in a bit.

I love looking at this car from this angle. It just looks so gnarly! And check out the Atoy bus on the left. Took a record 3 days to build that. I’ll try to show you guys some photos of the inside once the bathroom is installed haha! The one on the right is another ongoing project.

I love this shot. Makes you feel like you’re in a different country, thanks to the Korean(?) markings on the bus behind the Genesis. Though if you’re familiar with stuff in the Philippines, the sign on the left is a dead giveaway – Chickboy! Haha! Oh and of course the plate on the L300 on the right. This shot also gives you a view of how wide the front tires are, wrapped in 19×9.5 wheels. (The rears are actually wider at 19×10.5). But the best thing about this shot is that it shows the Genesis Amuse sporting a large Front Mount Intercooler. Makes you curious as to what’s lurking under the hood yes? Let’s check it out!

The engine bay is where the most recent updates are. Our good friend Kim Garcia brought in a tuner all the way from Korea, then he got together various members of the Genesis Club here in the Philippines who were willing to get their computer boxes tuned. After the tune, Atoy’s 2.0L Turbo Genesis Amuse mustered a fantastic 236 Wheel Horsepower, with the stock turbo! Thanks in part to additional modifications, specifically an HKS filter and large FMIC, both from DMF Drift, and an HKS exhaust system. But soon after this shoot, the HKS exhaust was replaced with a an even more aggressive sounding Borla exhaust system to add a more commanding presence once people hear the Atoy Genesis Amuse coming in. Admit it guys, even you would like to look great and sound great at the same time right?

On to some other cars parked outside the garage, Ton Llave, Atoy’s younger brother, owns this sweet and rare Honda Civic Domani. And since he’s an active member of the Stance Pilipinas crew, of course you’d expect a neatly stanced ride. This car deserves a feature of it’s own. More to come on this one so stay tuned.

My last picture on this post, a photo of this beautiful R34 currently being worked on by the Atoy Customs crew. You’d probably see this in some of the upcoming events. Watch out for it!

Last but not least, for all of you guys who are wondering if the Genesis Amuse will or can actually drift, of course it can! And this video from a fellow blogger at SprocketPH proves it. Atoy did some donuts and figure eights with the Genesis last February 11th, daring to do so even if the Genesis hasn’t been driven for more than 1,000km from the showroom floor! Haha! So if you didn’t see this in person during the B2B Love Cars Babes event, here it is for your viewing pleasure. Check it out! This video was taken a few weeks before I shot the photos you see above.

How often do you see an E39 BMW M5 rolling the streets here in the Philippines? That’s right, not that often.

How about a widebody E39 BMW M5? Perhaps never.

That makes me proud to present you with Ian King’s widebody E39 BMW M5. A one-of-a-kind monster from the CarPorn stable.

As if the highly tuned 4.9L BMW S62 V8 engine featuring double-VANOS, a screaming 7,000rpm redline, and individual throttle butterflies for each cylinder, combined to make 400 PS on a rear wheel drive platform isn’t enough to make your spine tingle, Ian has further modified this with aftermarket goodies such as an air filter, headers, exhaust, ECU, etc. along with suspension and brake modifications to put the the “U” in the Ultimate Driving Experience.

But what they’re really proud of is that they have custom-built the body kit (which is still a work in progress), and the car was widened to fit a staggering set of 18×12 Rota P45 Wheels on all four corners!
