Now this is something that you just won’t see everyday – a classic 3rd generation Toyota Corolla in Levin SR5 Liftback variant.

Check out the rest of the eye candy of this fully restored example, which featured a modded 2T-G engine…

Visible modifications are a revamped ignition system with a massive coil, Individual Throttle Bodies, a custom header system, and suspension mods as indicated by the strut bar.

Smashing Subaru Impreza dressed to represent Pinoy Pride!

Dressed to represent alright! This Subaru Impreza may look as if it were straight off a foreign rally team’s garage. But wait, if you look closer, apart from the number of aftermarket manufacturer logos fit for a parts mogul, some of the logos are actually from local businesses, mostly based in Antipolo city!

Hint: Construction company on the windshield visor, music school on the rear door, mercantile company on the front fender… This is one ride that’s proud to be Pinoy!

Filipino-American car enthusiast Jo Cajita has aptly named his beloved ride “Arnold” – the 1999 Supercharged Widebody BMW E39 540iT. And boy, what an impressive ride this is! It has even been featured in the 2008 and 2009 SEMA Show, and even in Hot Import Nights!

The current mods list showing its current state in the top picture reads like a book!

Well, without further ado, allow me to take you through the buildup of this awesome ride…

Ok, well, according to Jo of the ///MFest Community (mfestforum.com), Arnold really isn’t a 528i, just badged as a 528i, but is really a 540iT in disguise.

A proper introduction has to be done with how Arnold came to existence. It started with Jo being involved in a horrible accident during last year’s Thanksgiving weekend… The casualty involved Jo’s former ride – Willis. Here’s how Willis looked like before the accident.

And here’s after the accident. To cut the long story short, the lady driving the Ford Taurus caught gravel with her rear right tire and ended up drifting towards Jo from the opposite lane in a blind corner. Wham! Willis smashes into the Taurus head-first. Ouch!

Anyways, soon after, Jo started looking for another 5-series touring and found Arnold on Ebay.

So after having Arnold checked out, he finally brought it home. Here’s Arnold sitting in Jo’s garage for the first time.

And as the months rolled by, the inevitable happened… The modding has begun! Check out the boxes of goodies!

This collage shows the old Willis above, and now Arnold at the bottom.

Then the Carbon Fiber hood came, thanks to Carbon8.

Plus the Dinan intake and SuperSprint Dual Tip exhaust. Here’s Jo rolling by. Sick sound!

More to come… For now, let’s watch how Arnold appreciates what Cali has to offer.

Toyota MR2′s are extremely potent track cars. It’s no wonder! Because with their mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive platform, there is a tremendous amount of grip to be had from the rear tires, especially during cornering.

It’s even fast on a straight line! Stock out of the box, this USDM MR2 Turbo model can accelerate from 0-60 in 6.1 seconds, and can take the quarter mile in 14.7 seconds.

But the best thing about this MR2 is that it not only goes fast, but it does it in style as well. With a sleek exterior styling comparable to the Ferrari 348 and F355, it’s not hard to get heads turning towards your direction.

All the more for for Tito Figueroa’s Toyota MR2. This car has been completely tuned, pimped, styled, beautified, and exemplified inside, outside, and under the hood, that it brings envy to the eyes of mere onlookers.

This is one MR2-die-for.

In this view, you’ll find a GReddy front lip and side skirts, and ’98 clear bumper lights with mouldings. The stance and handling is courtesy of super cool gear such as an Ohlins 36-way adjustable sport suspension system, Tanabe Sustec pro coil springs, Cusco front and rear strut bar, White line after market rear stabilizer bar and adjustable stabilizer link.

The white 17-inch Prodrive wheels look perfect for this ride!

At the back, you’ll find a Border rear under skirt, a SARD rear wing, ’94 Kouki round tail lights…

And the gorgeous PHOENIX Departure twin muffler exhaust system which connects to the engine via custom-made down pipe and 3-inch piping.

Under the hood, there’s a 3rd generation Toyota 3SGTE turbo engine supported by TRD engine supports, and modified with Stage 4 auto plus head works, 1mm oversized valves, TODA camshafts 264 duration 9mm lift
(intake/ exhaust), TODA adjustable cam gears, and an Apexi air filter.

Transmission is a 5 speed manual with Helical LSD, with a TODA clutch kit (tri-puck clutch, pressure plate, and lightweight chromoly flywheel).

That’s a Spearco aftermarket side-mount intercooler with Spal high-speed fan.

For engine management and monitoring, there’s an Omori boost gauge, pivot auto turbo timer, Apexi Power FC programmable computer box, Apexi FC commander, and Programmable boost gauge with warning. Also found on the inside is a Nardi torino leather steering wheel with red stitch, Red Stitched leather shift boot,
TRD shift knob, Alpine head unit Ipod, mp3, wma, Kicker sepates speakers, Pioneer tube type subwoofer.

Spotted this old school beauty in the Old School Alumni Grand Homecoming Car Show this past weekend. Grabbed my attention because man, you could literally live in this thing!

As you can see the pop-up top allows more headroom in the van, allowing one to stand comfortably inside.

What’s on the inside anyway? Well, just about everything you’d find in a very small condo or flat, save for the bathroom. It even has a sound system! Note that everything is foldable, including the bench seat, which expands into a bed.

Would be nice to have one of these rides during those out of town trips or probably those race weekends don’t you think?

Question: What goes black and yellow then green all over?

Answer: Black is the first thing you’ll see on your rear-view mirror as this sinister-looking Nissan S14 Silvia catches up with you. Yellow is the next thing you’ll see once this car makes a move to pass you. And green is what your face will be when you’re flush with envy.

If Batman were a JDM fan, and he would’ve put more yellow than black to get noticed, then this would probably be his car.

With the flat black bumper with aerodynamic canards, carbon fiber hood and fenders, and massive Blitz intercooler, it’s easy to instill fear upon the eyes of onlookers.

And even from the sides, thanks to these trick carbon fiber fenders. Reminiscent of the Batmobile eh?

Black Nismo wheels with yellow logo, typical Batman colors. And with its light weight, combined with low-profile high-performance tires, this ride really means business.

Of course, a Bat would not be complete without wings. The carbon fiber rear wing is there not only to make this ride look good, but also to keep the tires planted to the ground for optimal handling. This ensures the Batman is able to catch up with all the bad guys as he weaves through the streets of Gotham city.

Take 2: A GE That’s Fit for a King – Carlo Lee (a.k.a. GE King)’s Honda GE FIT-01

Take 2? Yes, that’s right. Take 2 because this is the second time we’re posting up a GE Honda Fit/Jazz owned by Carlo Lee a.k.a. GE King of GEgarage.ph. No wonder he’s called the GE King!

The first Honda FIT owned by Carlo that we’ve feature here also features a custom plate – FIT 06. <--Click the link to see more about this J's Racing-equipped ride.

FIT 01, on the other hand, is dressed-up from head to tail with Noblesse attire.

On this view, it’s easy to see that this ain’t no ordinary Honda Fit. It now sports Noblesse dual exhausts visible under the Noblesse rear bumper and diffuser. Also seen here are 17-inch Noblesse wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza rubber. The awesome stance is courtesy of Tein Super Compact Coil-overs, along with other goodies that would make this car not just good to look at, but also fun to drive on the track!

And to help manage the handling on the track, a J’s Racing Wing Spoiler has also been installed.

Check out that cool intake pipe, red to match the rest of the car. Nice!

The Noblesse front bumper also features Noblesse LED Fog Lights, which not just improves night driving visibility, but also adds to the head-turning effect that this ride seems to bestow upon onlookers, especially when turned on at night!
