We wrap up the rest of the car photos with Part 3 of the 21st Trans Sport Show coverage. Here we look at cars from Jworks Unlimited, Starbright Bodykits, and other various notables.

The first of four Jworks Unlimited creations is this 1998 Mercedes Benz, in striking electric blue. The AMG logo proudly emblazoned atop its grill means this car isn’t just for show, but will give you your money’s worth on the track too.

Being a Porsche, the audio setup is found in the front end (makes me wonder if guards in malls get training to know which end to open when dealing with different cars…)

The sign on the show said otherwise, but I am pretty sure that this is Green Lantern’s daily driver…

…I mean, look at those rims glow green!

Another Jworks Unimited Benz, this 1998 SLK 230 stood out with its gold finish.

The New Autodresscode had this 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe on display, sporting extra wide front inlets to feed its equally large 3.6L engine

Bace Garage with their 2009 Honda Jazz… it was very nice of them to list down all the custom work made to their vehicles…

…with the rear suspension getting the J’s Racing treatment.

TSL Marketing had a 2007 Honda Jazz in full Rockford Fosgate gear. I had a similar setup in my Civic a few years ago, and let me tell you… my ears are still ringing!

Ford Fiestas are a very common site on Philippine roads these days, so a little sprucing up will certainly keep yours stand out.

One of the more angular bodykits I’ve seen on this 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer, which complements the main design elements of the current Mistubishi line very well.

OLDisCOOL indeed, this 1963 Mini Cooper by Equal Trade and Firland Audio attracting the crowds.

Not enough room to cram in all your AV gear? No problem! Add a trailer! This Cooper is certainly an entertainment center on wheels.

And just in case you need to pop by the nearest Mini Stop to get a case of ice cold brew whilst the crowd watch the latest episode of Game of Thrones on the Cooper, just grab the roof-mounted chopper, complete with rear carriage.

Just when I thought I had seen the entire car, the owner popped open the hood and revealed an equally astounding engine bay.

“I was built to beat you” – nuff said!

There were a number of great looking vintage cars on display this year. Alfred Motorworks showing off a restored 1963 Sunbeam Alpine.

A 1969 MGB GT looking like it just rolled off the production line…

…unwittingly nearly half a century later, but still holding its own.

This 1937 Chevrolet was one of the oldest cars on display in the show, being done up by The New Autodresscode.

Featuring red hot grills, with a checkered front accent…

…this vintage is as revolutionary now as it was back in its prime.

The 21st iteration of the Trans Sport Show saw us returning to SM Megamall, with near 100 cars on show (or maybe more – I lost count!). Cars on display ranged from a 1937 Chevy, to the latest of Porsches, so whether you were into vintage or the cutting edge, this years Trans Sport Show had something for everyone.

The general styling of this car really flowed well from front to rear, with the front grills being painted matte black, along with what were originally chrome accents… genius!

2010 Mercedes Benz C180 and E300 by Concept One, wrapped with Foil A Car technology, giving that clean, sleek, matte finish look.

Firland Audio shows us a clean and composed audio setup.

.. and then gives us something completely out of this world with this 1978 Volkswagen Beetle.

A seizure inducing interior, which will keep any party animal going all night.

This must have been one of the more striking cars in the event, obviously with plenty of hours put in to get the Beetle looking as slick as this…

Every square inch of this vehicle has been transformed, with speakers lining what used to be the rear seats.

The iconic Toyota bB (or its twin brother the Scion xB) has always had a following amongst the tuner crowd. Based on the Toyota Echo/Yaris/Vios platform, this car probably has the most appeal and charisma compared to its cousins, despite its boxy looks.

With a properly kitted-out bB or xB, you could easily roll into a parking lot filled with modified Silvias, Skylines, Evos, or Imprezas, and get the same level of respect, than if you came in with a similarly kitted-out version of any if its more rounded cousins. There’s just a certain attitude about the bB/xB that makes it stand proud.

The Toyota bB you see right here is a perfect example. Tricked-out by Euro Garage Motors, it has been given a complete makeover and now features a stanced and VIP’d look, making it stand out, or sit – given the 2.75″ drop, like a boss (check out the camber!).

Black paint while sitting on Work Euroline Wheels is a traditional VIP recipe, but the guys at Euro Garage spiced this bB up by covering it with satin black vinyl wrap with custom decals, and added various exterior upgrades, making it look hotter than ever before. Additional flavor is provided by a custom audio system consisting of a Pioneer head unit, Crescendo and Ground Zero speakers, and Alipine amplifiers.

But the secret sauce is what you’ll find under the hood. Because this car has been turbocharged. Let me say that again, this car has been TURBOCHARGED! Yes, that’s right, the 1.5L 1NZ-FE engine has been given a doze of adrenalin care of a T25 Garrett Turbocharger, a custom exhaust, APEXi air filter, HKS Blow-Off Valve, and a G-Reddy E Manage Ultimate system. So when a ricer boy in a doped out Civic tries to cut you off thinking you’ll never catch him, you’re confident to know it won’t be easy for him to outrun you.

Justin Bieber, the global singing superstar, isn’t the name most of us would associate with custom cars, or even Batmobiles, but it turns out we were wrong. In Mid-December 2011 Biebs was stopped by the California Highway Patrol in Los Angeles for an illegal manoeuvre in his matt black customised Cadillac. The car has been nicknamed the Bieber Batmobile because it has been given a Batman custom refit.

Bieber is only 17-years-old and not even old enough to play Partypoker.com, and the legal age of driving in California is 18, so the Biebs was either driving on a provisional licence while accompanied by an adult or using his Canadian licence. He was born and brought up in the Canadian province of Ontario where drivers can apply for a learner’s permit at the age of 16 and apply for a full licence a full year later. So, presumably, he was legal.

So, what sort of Batmobile was the pint-sized singer driving? The original Batmobile in the comics of the 1940s was an ordinary red convertible typical of the age. From the 1960s the Batmobile was a custom car, the show used a customised 1950s Lincolm Futura. This was a one-off, space-age looking car built in using a Lincoln Mark 2 chassis and 368 cubic inch Lincoln engine, but put together in Italy by Ghia. The car was modified by George Barris, who owned Barris Kustom Industries and styled himself as the King of Customizers.

Bieber’s car however is a high-performance luxury car known as the Cadillac (Bat-illac) CTS-V. It can do 0–60 in a mind-blowing 3.9 seconds, this is all packed around Magnetic Ride Control suspension and 6-piston front, 4-piston rear Brembo® brakes. Biebs’s car was seriously pimped by West Coast Customs owned by Ryan Friedlinghaus, who have outlets in Mexico, Germany, Dubai, Malaysia, Russia and Japan as well as Corona California. Biebs car has a ‘JB’ logo on the side panel and twin Batman symbols on the front and back.

Pinoy celebrity Gerald Anderson, despite all the fame and fortune that he is blessed with today, is just like any other person who requires some private time to get away from it all, and just hang out with friends. But with the busy schedule shuffling between movies, TV programs, modelling, endorsements, and all those things unique to the world of celebrities, sometimes you just have to be very flexible to get things done. So what’s their secret? It’s all about being mobile.

But to be mobile requires a celebrity (or politician, businessman, corporate executive, etc. for that matter) to have a vehicle that is custom-built to double not just as a form of transportation, but as a means to get other things done while travelling from point A to point B.

From the outside, it’s pretty obvious that the roof is no stock unit, being a bubble top that allows more space on the inside of the E150.

As you first step inside, the tendency is to look at what is occupying the additional space allowed by the bubble top. And you’re greeted by a large wide-screen TV and custom interior lighting.

Looking further inside, you’ll notice two couches, a small table, and curtains all around to ensure privacy from the outside world. All these items ensure that Gerald’s portable place is capable of transporting Gerald and friends in typical limousine fashion.

Apart from the custom interior upholstery, you’ll also notice the surround sound system complimenting the big screen TV to give you a superior audio-visual experience.

The table is actually a removable unit which allows the sideward-facing couch to expand, filling the interior space by turning into a bed – essential for celebrities like Gerald who need some shut-eye between sets.

Or if Gerald doesn’t exactly feel sleepy, space for drinks is available for those movie marathon and sound tripping moments, which he can also enjoy with the company of friends thanks to the sofa bed configuration inside.

The rear seat also reclines to expand the bed further, when not carrying big loads behind the seat.

And with the bubbletop also allowing for space for a 220V aircon unit, Gerald can sleep and rest between sets without having to waste gas keeping the engine running. They simply have to give provision to plug the aircon into an outlet provided by the set.

For the exterior modifications, as Gerald’s ride is actually a previous-generation Ford E150, the looks have been updated to the current E150 front fascia – the conversion of which is also available only from Atoy Customs.

This ride is something that I’m sure is familiar to you, if you’ve been frequently attending the latest cars shows around Manila. Often being found in the Repsol booth, this ride is probably the luckiest Toyota Hi-Ace in the Philippines, as apart from the fact that it has a custom body kit, wheels, paint/graphics scheme, interior, and custom audio/video setup, it is always surrounded by some of the sexiest car show models you can find.

So getting a chance to shoot this ride during a show without too many people surrounding it is a rare occassion. So I immediately took the chance so I can show you what this sweet ride has got to showcase.
