Filipino-American car enthusiast Jo Cajita has aptly named his beloved ride “Arnold” – the 1999 Supercharged Widebody BMW E39 540iT. And boy, what an impressive ride this is! It has even been featured in the 2008 and 2009 SEMA Show, and even in Hot Import Nights!

The current mods list showing its current state in the top picture reads like a book!

Well, without further ado, allow me to take you through the buildup of this awesome ride…

Ok, well, according to Jo of the ///MFest Community (mfestforum.com), Arnold really isn’t a 528i, just badged as a 528i, but is really a 540iT in disguise.

A proper introduction has to be done with how Arnold came to existence. It started with Jo being involved in a horrible accident during last year’s Thanksgiving weekend… The casualty involved Jo’s former ride – Willis. Here’s how Willis looked like before the accident.

And here’s after the accident. To cut the long story short, the lady driving the Ford Taurus caught gravel with her rear right tire and ended up drifting towards Jo from the opposite lane in a blind corner. Wham! Willis smashes into the Taurus head-first. Ouch!

Anyways, soon after, Jo started looking for another 5-series touring and found Arnold on Ebay.

So after having Arnold checked out, he finally brought it home. Here’s Arnold sitting in Jo’s garage for the first time.

And as the months rolled by, the inevitable happened… The modding has begun! Check out the boxes of goodies!

Then the Carbon Fiber hood came, thanks to Carbon8.

Some people say that a project car will never really have an ending to it. Well, that’s because the goals are constantly changing! The same is the case for GreenZilla – a Honda CRV owned by Marbel Bayombong.

This car has gone through three alterations in its setup within the past three years. And take note… this car is only three years old!

I actually wanted to say something about the GreenZilla, but I was too busy wiping the drool off my face because Marbel’s ride is probably the coolest Honda CRV in the country… or maybe even the World!

That is, until the LNS Crew came about and decided to design an entire car, both the interior and exterior, out of the Louis Vuitton motif. In this case, they kitted out the latest Honda Civic FD. And you know what? I think it looks quite good! If you’re a Louis Vuitton fan yourself, then this could just be the perfect addition to your collection.

Read on as we take you through a virtual tour around and inside this stylish ride. And don’t even bother trying to count how many LV logos you’re about to see, because you’ll go crazy before you even get to count half.

Looking at the car from the outside, and you already wonder what’s on the inside. And upon opening the door, it is just as you’d expect it to be… all Louis Vuitton, same as the outside.

But as you sit inside, it is apparent that this ride isn’t only about looking good, but sounding good too. A custom audio-video entertainment system has been installed. Just take a look at those speakers in the front and rear doors, and A-pillars right above the dash.

And as you crank up the music, there’s the heart-pounding bass that rocks with the music. Pop the trunk and you’ll see where all that power is coming from.

Frankly, I think the wheels installed in this picture looks better on the car than the one in the topmost picture. What do you think guys?

Check out this Ford Mustang seen at the Auto Transporter booth during the 2009 Face Off Car Show at Greenhills. Who wouldn’t want to be seen driving one of these babies on a daily basis?

Fuel consumption? Forget about it! Just turn off the engine on the traffic light, turn up the volume on the crankin’ Earthquake and Kicker sound system, and watch the eyes fly towards your direction. (Sorry, it was hard not to have my reflection seen as I snapped this photo.)

Then, as the traffic light goes green, start up the engine and watch the eyes on those staring faces go green with envy, as you rev up the massive engine.

Celebrities are known to have working rides that are plain on the outside to avoid unwanted attention, but tricked-out on the inside to the point that they could even live in their rides through continuous days of shooting movies away from home.

Celebrity Kim Chiu is no different. She has taken her brand-new plain on the outside Ford E150, and had it converted into a studio-type condo on wheels! And who else to take it to other than the to the custom car magicians of A-toy Body Kits!

Read on to find out what A-toy Body Kits has done to pimp-out and fully customize the interior of Kim Chiu’s Ford E150.

From the outside, the only hint of it having a roomy interior is the bubbletop roof. But as we open the door, it’s a surprise to be greeted by none other than Kim Chiu herself! Striking a pose for the camera while sitting pretty in the custom leather sofa bed embellished in pink. Don’t get starstruck yet! We still have to show you the rest of the ride.

Onboard, the rest of the interior is decked out in the same sort of posh custom gray and pink leather as the sofa. Check out the swiveling captain’s chair, which, when facing the rear or the sofa, is very useful for conference meetings, interviews, simple chit-chat, or as a seat for the make-up artist.

Facing front, it not only serves as an extra seat, but as a movie theater premium seat as you watch TV or DVDs on the Sony 22-inch LCD TV. Not only that, it also serves as your very own gaming couch when you pop a disc into the PlayStation 3 Gaming Console!

And what are movies or games without a custom sound system. Kim Chiu’s E150 doesn’t fall short on this deparment, as it features a plethora of In-Car Entertainment gear, all neatly installed courtesy of Perfect Circle. An Ipod-ready Alpine D106 sends signals to an Alpine Theatre Amplifier, which then transmits the sound waves into Infinity Separates and an Infinity Subwoofer.

Notice the custom airplane-style storage compartments and furniture, all necessary for Kim Chiu’s celebrity-work.

Like any proper VIP ride, Francis’ Cefiro has been beautified by a Fabulous body kit, painted in black by JCB Bodyshop, slammed via BC Sports coilovers with damper control, and rolls on flush-mounted and blingin’ large-diameter wheels wrapped with low offset tires.

Extra exterior details such as a hood mascot, Junction Produce antenna, and LED side mirrors have been added to make the car stand out and look more stylish.

Additional performance modifications have also been done such as a K&N intake, 5Zigen GTR dual exhaust, Cusco oil catch can, Megarizin grounding, Apexi SAFCII, and Runstop rotors with braided brake lines. Like I said, this car was built with love and care. So nothing has been spared.

But hey, those cars are meant to show the world what they can do. Extreme conversions aside, they also come up with breathtaking rides, without having to mutate metal.

Enter Philip Laude’s 2000 Honda Civic VTi.

This car actually started life as an ordinary Honda Civic. But then the tuner bug took a good bite-sized chunk out of Philip, and he began the tuning regimen in an attempt to heal the wound. So out went the stock wheels, and in came 17-inch Rota Torque Wheels wrapped in 215/40R17 Kumho Rubber.

Fast forward through time a bit, and Philip found himself having a ride that manages to get to the next stoplight faster than most of the other Honda Civic’s next to him. This is made possible by performance upgrades that go from a K&N Air Filter, to Fremuff High-Performance Headers, to a custom exhaust, and an HKS Muffler. And since this is now a show car, the entire engine bay was dressed up to look so clean, it’s as if you could eat off of it. And this spectacular engine is covered by an equally spectacular Mugen hood.

But the virus from the tuning bug just won’t give up that easily. So work began on the interior. This awesome all-red custom interior is a product of Seatmate Auto Interiors. A Momo steering wheel was installed to match the rest of the interior. Along with a good looking interior, you have got to have one that sounds good. In-Car Entertainment is courtesy of an Ice Power 5-inch Touch-Screen Head Unit, plus a JBL subwoofer powered by an Alpine V12 amplifier gives that heart-pounding bass that makes heads bounce and bodies move.

And then came the time to repaint the car. Finding himself discontented with just candy apple red, Philip decided to add a slpash of black to give it a totally unique look. Two-tone black and red is something you won’t see in car shows, let alone on the city streets. And it turned out to look just awesome! Don’t you agree?

The engine is neatly detailed, with certain parts highlighted with the same paint as the exterior, and the pink neon glow gives away the fact that this is not a your average workhorse pickup.

As you approach the ride for a better look of the inside, the interior immediately captivates you. Louis Vuitton on white is a view that will, at any given day, enamour the ladies, and fill a man’s ego. Add a touch of neon pink lighting, and a Barney stuff toy between the seats, and you have yourself a ride that’s impossible not to love.

Then when you finally start to relax from the visual fixation, you start to notice the other details, such as the custom speaker enclosures on the doors and kickpanels, plus the video monitors on each visor (not seen on picture). Turning the stereo on, cranking the volume up, the music sounds crisp and clean. But wait, the bass indeed packs a punch! You start to wonder where all that audio power is coming from.

A peek into the back seat reveals the source of all that audible power. Amplifiers custom-mounted on the floor with matching neon pink lighting and Louis Vuitton leather consistent with the front just enthralls you. The pinkish glow emanating into the white seats gives nice visual treat, especially at night.

Now here’s the source of all that chest pumping bass. A custom subwoofer is mounted neatly where the rear seatback used to be, blended with the same Louis Vuitton leather as with the rest of the interior.

I’ll be honest with you, I’ve never seen a Mitsubishi L200 as neat as this. Who would’ve known that you could turn a workhorse pickup into a posh ride?

As you enter this stunning ride, you’re immediately greeted by the sight and scent of plush luxurious Burberry-print leather; the kind of interior fit for an Arab Sheik. As you get inside and take your place on the front seat, it’s not that hard to imagine yourself cruising down the Middle-East desert this Dakkar Rally-bred Pajero riding on wide all-terrain Bridgestone tires, on your way to pick up your Brazilian model dates (yes dates) for the evening.

Looking for entertainment along the way, you crank the music up to find yourself bouncing to the beat – the pounding bass punching through the air. With the unmistakeable “feel” the music, it’s clear that this ain’t no ordinary sound system. Looking out back, you’re greeted by no less than 4 massive subwoofers, with enough power to cause momentary deafness (not that you’d want that to happen), or host a beach party!

As you stop to pick up your companions for the night, you’d be delighted to see the surprise in their faces as you open the rear doors – suicide style, ala Rolls-Royce Phantom. And they’d be more than happy to join you for that ride, as the ambiance is set by the same Burberry leather that adorns the rest of the vehicle.

Ever wonder what that door-mounted monitor is for? Well, aside from giving onlookers a visual treat while parked with the doors open, partying to the music along the beach, this may also serve another purpose with the doors closed… perhaps to give your Brazilian dates some visually-entertaining motivation while chillin’ around in various positions? LOL!

You reach your final destination – to watch the sunset at the beach, with Brazilian models by your sides, a campfire to keep you warm, a bottle of champagne, and your Pajero, with the rear door open, giving you audio-visual entertainment, as you party through the night.
