Stance Pilipinas / Manila Fitted is a group where in the main focus is about the Stance of the car and the Fitment of the wheels and tires.

The scene is not yet that well known. But we are here to help and give advice to those who want to be a part of the community.

We Just had out 2nd meet at McKinley Hill and over 40 plus cars came and supported us.

It was a successful meet the carpark was filled with great looking cars who are also into the stance scene. People were enjoying themselves and the meet had a very positive vibe all throughout the night.

The spirit of Custom Pinoy Rides isn’t just about the cars, but also about the owners behind the cars. As these cars would not be the spectacularly modified cars they are to day if not for the people who actually own and drive them. And when owners of particular vehicles come together to form a community of enthusiasts, that’s when things get real interesting.

Such is the case with the LanEvo Club. We all know that Mitsubishi Lancer Evolutions are high-performance sports sedans born and bred to go fast. With members always active and on the move, actually driving their cars in different types of motorsports competitions in the Philippines, you could imagine how epic it would be like to gather them all under one roof and capture the moment on camera.

Well, thanks to the Car Photography Club, these photos came to life. So you can expect features of some of the cars from the LanEvo Club in the coming days. To be a member of the club there is only one requirement: You have to own a LEGIT or Original Evo. Right hand drive converted to left hand drive is alright, but Lancer EX conerting it to a Evo, or any other Lancers converted into Evos is big no no! We don’t allow such conversions to be entered into our club.”

It’s been a while since I’ve been looking for a club or group that’s focused purely on VIP Style cars (a.k.a. “Bippu”) here in the Philippines. But lo and behold, there finally is a club! And the name suits it nicely – VIP Style Philippines!

Here are some photos from a club meet held at Mckinley Hill.

What is “VIP Style” all about?

Wikipedia defines it nicely by saying:
“VIP Style refers to the modification of Japanese luxury automobiles to make them more fashionable and more luxurious. VIP Style are typically large, expensive, rear-wheel drive sedans, though automotive enthusiasts use other cars like minivans and Kei cars. Once associated with the yakuza, VIP Style modifications now are a subset of automotive modification.

Cars associated with VIP style usually have common characteristics, such as large diameter rims (usually broad faced designs) with low offsets that sit flush with the fender, exhausts that stick out past the rear bumper (although not so much emphasized these days), a full bodykit or lip kit, glossy paint and a lowered ride height. It is not uncommon to see extremely negative camber on many VIP style cars. Traditional colors of VIP Style cars are usually black, white, grey and silver.”
