This is one remarkable Nissan 350Z, and that is to say the least. If only you guys knew the level of work and attention to detail that went into this build, then you’ll probably appreciate it even more.
Consider this post to be a teaser because we’re looking to do an all-out shoot of this car soon. So in the meantime, I’ll just give you a briefing on what this is all about.
Have you ever heard someone tell you to just go ahead and find the wheels you like and build the car around them? And if you want the fitment to be aggressive, then a good starting point is when you have no idea if the wheels will fit? Well, that’s exactly what happened here. Read on to see the rest of the story…
These are RSV Forged concave 3-piece wheels which are a whopping 12-inches wide up front, and a staggering 14-inches at the back. If you try and fit these onto a stock 350Z, these are gonna stick out like there’s no tomorrow. So the car was then built around the wheels. And this car is running massive tire stretch too. No shop accepted the dare to inflate these tires, so they brought it to a shop that inflates truck tires. Dare I say, they had to get it to triple-digit tire pressure just to seat the tire beads!
And when I say “built,” I mean literally built. Those bulging fenders you see there aren’t made of fiberglass or carbon fiber. That’s real deal sheetmetal, ladies and gentlemen. Like I said, the car was built around around it. Not the other way around. Of course, the non-sheetmetal bits followed-suit, like the bumpers and skirts, so all the lines would flow smoothly. On a side-note, check out that “MFest” sticker. Probably a teaser of what is to come? Hahaha!
Dat ass! The Z33 plate suits it well. And that mirror gives a sneak peak at what’s on the belly of the beast. Everything has been chromed from under the hood, all the way to the back. What I can say is that the end result is a complete package that works. Since it’s owned by none other than “Lady Drifter Tintin David,” it actually drifts, for cryin’ out loud! No rubbing issues, nothing! Would you like to see that? This car has both show and go in one package.
Again, this is just a sneak peak, as this was photographed during the 2013 Manila Auto Salon. We’ll showcase everything in its entirety, including the stunning interior, after our all-out shoot. Watch out for that!
