With the Honda City being considered to be one of the best, if not the best, subcompact car in our local market today, it’s no wonder why just about everywhere you look, you’ll see a Honda City parked up or rolling down the street. Everybody had to get their hands on one. But what’s interesting is that you’ll see who the real car enthusiasts are when you those which are far from stock.
While there are some who would modify a Honda City with the objective of going faster, I kinda like seeing Honda Citys that have been modified with form over function in mind. Just like how this particular car enthusiast turned a sweet sleek City into an absolute street sweeper.
That’s just me though. This may not be your cup of tea, but here at Custom Pinoy Rides, we’ve learned to appreciate the different genres of car customization. Because if everyone else had the same idea about how a car should be modified, then the car tuning industry would be boring, right?
Having said that, since the Honda City was intended to be a “City Car,” seeing one that looks good even while going slow in city traffic appeals to me, albeit compromising practicality. They say “low is a lifestyle,” so you have to pay to play, right? Like how race cars are “purpose-built” to go fast, this car has been “purpose-built” and stanced-out to look good.
So yeah, you read the title right. I meant to say “$ex in the City,” because this stanced Honda City is just pure $ex.
That fitment is just absolutely mental. Agree?
