22nd TRANS SPORT SHOW DRIVING GENERATIONS OF CAR FANS
Now on its 22nd year, the Trans Sport Show opens on May 30-June 2 at the SMX Convention Center and continues to be a driving force in the car industry, not only as a general automotive show but as an enduring automotive brand that embodies the Filipino car enthusiasts’ dreams through two or even three generations.
“We have met a lot of fathers and sons, whole families in fact, through the years, who had a steady diet of the Trans Sport Show,” says Tradeshow International President Sophie de los Santos.
“It was the inspiration for the show’s new slogan. When we started seeing dads with their L-type Lancers, passionately staring at restored examples with their sons who now drive the latest generation cars, we knew that was what really represented the show,” Miss de los Santos adds.
“Driving Generations,” Trans Sports Show’s newest slogan embodies the brand’s market position. Not simply a show for car enthusiasts, or a gathering of the best and most creative minds in automotive sound, body, tuning and paint engineering, the Trans Sport Show creates endearing memories to those who have visited and participated in the event.
For 21 years the Trans Sport Show has served the automotive industry by creating niches to which the mainstream car makers can pick up ideas. Car accessory and personalization businesses have also taken advantage of the show, experimenting with set-ups and offerings. It has remained to be the only automotive exhibition that caters to a most diverse car loving audience—of all ages and from all walks of life—an institution and a powerful brand as far as car competitions, auto restoration, aftermarket products and car club networking is concerned.
“Driving Generations” will be formally launched as the Trans Sport Show’s new slogan. Coinciding with the 2nd Philippine Nostalgic Motor Show, “Driving Generations” will have a perfect platform for the enthusiast to understand why the car crazy Filipinos love their cars, no matter what age or genre they come from. Event highlights include the phoenix TRANS SPORT SHOW Cup Competition, 50th Anniversary of the Porsche 911 – an evolution display by Porsche Club Philippines, 60th Anniversary of the Corvette – an evolution Display by the Manila Sports Car Club, Search for the 2013 Ms. Trans Sport Show, a Ms. PETROL Competition and Fashion Show, daily raffles and many more.
