Circuit Showdown 2011 Round 3 – Binalonan Airfield – May 7, 2011

Photos from CircuitShowdown.com

Circuit Showdown goes to Binalonan Airfield for Round 3 of it’s 2011 race series. Now if you’re looking at the top picture scratching your head wondering how a front-wheel-drive AE92 Toyota Corolla could possible drift, then wait till you see the rest of the photos below. The Circuit Showdown crew have managed to turn Binalonan Airfield into one tricky track, where you’d have to weave your way through various obstacles that will test your car control skills to the fullest. One second you’re on firm tarmac, the next, you could be slipping out of control on the grass if you’re not careful.

An “accent” to the race?

This Toyota Vios goes Whoops!

So does this Nissan Sentra Series 2. And a close call if I may add. But hey, the first few photos give the illusion as if it were drifting. Something to use to fool the masses perhaps?

Don’t think a Honda Civic can be excempted from spinning out. Every car and driver is at the mercy of this track.

Ouch. Swallowed by the grass.

Yup. Even Mitsubishi Lancers.

Awesome save!!!

Anyways, spills aside, let’s adore the finer things in life such as the hot and beautiful cars who participated in Circuit Showdown Round 3.

Honda versus Mitsu.

Would be a pain if that pristine paint gets scratched.

2 words: BAD ASS.

Honda CRX baby!

A red Toyota MR2 never fails to be a head turner.

Some concoction. Is this a Starlet with Civic EG headlights?

Down… Force…

Double Down Force…

What downforce?

Pistons last year, ITBs this year. The Circuit Showdown crew truly comes up with very innovative trophies. Can’t wait to see what the award will look like for next year.
