Cars of Circuit Showdown Round 9: “Show and Go” Turbo Honda Civic EG Hatchback with Lambo Doors!!!

The reason why I said I liked how Edward has captured the Circuit Showdown Round 9 event is because, as they say, pictures are worth a thousand words. Well he has brought about some stories of the different cars which participated in the event.

Take these shots of this Honda Civic EG Hatchback for example. There’s so much to say about it! The front stock front bumper has been modified with a chin, and has been cut to allow more air into the massive front mount intercooler, which already tells you what’s lurking under the carbon hood, also given away by the number of meters on the dash.

The sides of the bumper has been modified and now features canards, and some sort of inlet vent.

The license plate, which already says “turbo”, has been tilted upwards to help scoop air into the intercooler. Cold air, if I may add, as scientifically speaking, hot air goes up, and cold air goes down.

On the doors, well, apart from the aftermarket side mirrors, the doors actually open upwards – Lambo style!

Ummm… it’s ok but don’t like how the i/c sticks out like a smiling rabbit. :) And the lambo doors is not so jdm. ;) I wonder what’s under the hood, and what psi of boost it’s just making coz we know high comp n.a’s don’t like boost.

If this were a image model, and the engine were its private parts, then it this would be wearing a thong, by the way it exposes the intercooler LOL!

Yeah lambo doors not so JDM. I think this is part show car part track car.

Under the hood, I’d like to know as well. But judging my the size of that intercooler, I think it runs lots of boost, and I have a feeling the engine is a B20. Then again, I could be wrong.

I hope some of the readers who have seen this ride in person, or maybe the owner, would care to share whats underneath?
