The thrilling, adrenaline-filled racing series – Circuit Showdown, goes back to the same venue where it held its very first leg – Clark International Speedway. But this time around, it was even more action-packed than ever before!
Read on to see the race photos as well as shots of the awesome cars that participated in this event.
The shot above shows the sprint to the first corner, right after the start of the race. Here’s how it all started from the grid…
Inaki Araneta on the 3-Series BMW, Gerard Loy on the turbocharged EG Civic, Jonmark Ong on the blue EK Civic, Ayrton Nigel Cuesta on the Orange EG Civic, the red EK Civic by Cabspeed Cabanatuan, and Patrick Bautista in the AE92 Corolla.
Cabspeed, with their background in drag racing, charges hard out of the line and into the first corner. Jonmark ong tries to sneak in on the inside line. But as they accelerate off the first corner, its the red Cabspeed EK Civic that takes the lead, followed by Gerard Loy in the black EG Civic, and Inaki Araneta in the 3-Series BMW.

And makes it! But is already too far away from the heavily modified Civics of Gerard Loy and Cabspeed Cabanatuan.
On this grid, we have Marc Peter M. Thomann in the Turbo EK Civic in pole position. It’s apparent that this car now has a new black front bumper replacing the white one he had on during the previous races. Beside him in the EG Civic hatchback is 15-year-old Ayrton Nigel Cuesta, who was still 14 during the date of this race. 3rd on the grid is Gerard Loy in the turbocharged EG Civic, followed by Jonmark Ong in the PTCC-spec B16 N/A powered EK Civic.
And off they go!
