Why go JDM when PhDM is now the FUTURE of TUNING

In case you don’t know it yet, PhDM is now the “in” thing when it comes to tuning and dressing up cars in both America and Canada. Notice the Corolla wearing a Philippines license plate?

We’ve got foreigners asking for Philippines plates which they can acquire to use for show in the States. Believe it or not, it’s the next big thing!

More pictures and samples after the jump.

Plate originally from Subic circa 1989 according to an AE86 expert. This shot was taken in Las Vegas.

The owner of this car is a Pinoy who sells Pilipinas plates in the Fatlace forums in America. Yes it’s not the legitimate plates, yet he’s still selling a lot and is a “wanted” item in the States. More so are the original Pilipinas plates.

Obviously, it’s being used in car shows, with models and all!

Oh and in case you didn’t know it yet, Pinoy-made Rota wheels are also the “in” thing in the States. They even have decals saying “Fake Wheels Saved Me Money”. Would you believe that?

There’s a ton of examples of Rota wheels installed in various cars here: http://www.wheeldude.com/wordpress/tag/rota-p45. You’ll see it installed in 350Z’s, 370Z’s, E90′s, M3′s, the works! PhDM is the way to go!

i think those who put Phdm plate on carshows specially abroad are only putting them as a Representation of the filipinos but not their car mods or something….

which for me is kinda good too…

since i dont really believe in purists thing anymore…instead i want to let the people from around the globe how filipinos customize, tune, style their rides in a very neat appreciative way…may it be “chopseuy” or what…

    just my idea…

Pinoys abroad are very very proud of their heritage hence the displays of Philippine license plates and Philippine flags on their cars.
