LRPhils Motors, Inc., the exclusive distributor of Land Rover vehicles in the Philippines Treated the Media and the public to a Terrapod Experience at the Rockwell Power Plant Mall March 25-27, 2010. The Terrapod is a mobile off-road track that can demonstrate the capabilities of the Land Rover vehicles’ in a similar off road terrain done in a safe and controlled environment.
One of the four obstacles of the Terrapod is called the Slide Slope, a 25-degree embankment that shows the stability that of a Land rover side ways. Then the Walking holes, this demonstrate distribute of engine power to the wheels with the most traction showing you and idea of it 4×4 capabilities. Up and Over a 30-degree ascent and a 30-degree descent. Last would be the SEESAW, its a swinging plank that tests a vehicle’s chassis strength and balance.
