This is the Chevrolet Cruze Philippine Touring Car by BRE (Blanco Race Engineering). It was built to race in the Philippine Touring Car GT125 Series, and will also be seen in various shows and track days in the country.
The car’s aerodynamics have been improved with a World Touring Car Championship Front Bumper and Wide-Body Kit.

Concept One wheels wrapped in low-profile tires and tucked nicely within the wide-body fenders and damped by a coilover suspension system ensure the car corners like it’s on rails. And though GT125 rules allow big brake kits to be installed, this race runs the stock brakes that the Chervolet Cruze came with. This is because the Cruze, according to the Blanco Race Engineering Team, has the best factory brakes by far amongst sedans within its class.

The rear end also features a World Touring Car Championship Rear Bumper and Spoiler. Also seen here are the tips from the Blanco Race Engineering Dyno-Tuned Twin Exhaust Mufflers. And speaking of the exhaust system brings the power modifications in mind. This race car features a Blanco Race Engineering Dyno-Tuned Stainless Steel Intake System, Headers, and Exhaust Pipes, all of which when combined with the Twin Exhaust Mufflers give the car a total of 125 Horsepower to the Wheels. Tuned to perfection to race in the Philippine Touring Car GT125 Series.

Inside, it’s all about stripping the car of everything that would not be necessary for a dedicated race car. Then adding essentials such as a custom roll cage not just for safety, but also forchassis stiffening to aid maximizing the car’s handling characteristics. Also installed are Momo Racing Pedals, Steering Wheel, and Racing Harness, and of course a lightweight but very supportive Recaro Bucket Seat. All of which contributing to bringing the vehicle weight down to a flyweight 1040kg.

This ride also won the Best Car Display on the 19th Transport Show.
